Poem

Ill close the door and then lock the key
That's no longer a part of me
Ill run and run for miles on
Not looking back until I'm completely gone

Poetry

Andrew M, Mods 3-4

The Winter

Why do we bother with Summer?

The sweat rolling down my face,

Like a bowling ball down the lane.

The sweat stings my eyes;

It is a bee that won’t go away.

This is the best-

Gazing out the window,

Looking at the fresh snow,

And taking the first crisp step in the white powder.

Maybe making a snowball,

A fortress of solitude,

But mostly going out to snowboard all day long.

T.V. and laptop turned on,

Watching the news and hoping

For school to be closed.

And we play outside in the soft miracle.

Houses covered, hills white as Santa’s beard.

Almost here,

Christmas is on the way,

And happiness will fill my house

In the winter time.

Through the wins and the

Through the wins and the losses, the smiles and tears. My team will stand by me forever for the rest of our years.
H.S 3-4

my poem

6:02 p.m. EST

Halloween spawned the night, the night spawned the kids.
the kids spawned the question, the answer is where it begins.
one spawns a weapon, the weapon spawns your attention.
From the left spawns a blow that shows you the ground...
a thousand places spawn pain,
in which spawns a spark when you get up and turn around.
They rode off down the street, so you sit back down on the concrete
the spark spawns lost anger, anger spawns hate.
the hate spawns a deep meaning, but you fail to relate.
Now spawns your phone.
you call for a ride, but no one is home.
the second gets answered, and your on your way back.
the meaning slowly returns, but all it can do is remind
you that the last memory you can spawn is the time.

My life is filled with confusion,
I need a break, disillusion.
Family, school, friends,
The list never ends.
Life isn't fair, that's my conclusion

So U. 3-4 "Origin"

I am from the east
From the land of the rising sun

I am from the education
Doing boring drills endlessly

I am from my heroes
Who I imitated
And dreamt of being

I am from the water
Stinging with the smell of chlorine

I am from the backyard
Playing new games
Where language was not a factor

I am from the "Cry baby"
Or the "Starving Beast"

I am from the ballpark
From the Cotton Candy
From mascots
And the seventh inning

I am from the sounds
From school concerts to
The Applauses from the crowd

I am from the expeditions
During which I saw the world
From the cities of New York
To the startling grand canyon

I am from the beach
Where sand sticks on the wet feet
Where the ocean spreads across the horizon

I am from the challenge
From the snow
From the Green
From the pool
 From the road

I am from the people
From Friends
And From my Family

Rare

Rare is happiness
the never ending love
Rare is honesty
the "I'll tell you everything."
Rare is I'll take care of you
in sickness and in health
Rare is ill be there for you
never lie,go behind your back, or cheat
Till death do us part.
Then again, forever is rare too.

TFarbs- Rain Brings Sun

The rain is dreary
The sun is marvelous
Looking forward to no rain,
Its time for the sun to have its day.
Flowers need to bloom at once,
To bring smiles across our faces.
And leave at once that dreary rain,
To bring smiles across our faces :)

poem

brandon walters mod 3-4

i am from the time of board games
from toy soldiers and plastic dice
to fake money and false totems
i am from the beaches of California
the wind blowing in my face
i am from living in the moment
rolling with the 'King' to hanging with my friends
i am from the 'Big Apple'
from its liberties and freedoms
to its pain of the past
i am from 'smile for the camera'
from looking my best
to having a rough day
i am from a family church
all-nighters and early sermons
i am from the fields of shin guards and cleats
to  jerseys and team practices
i am from the youth
from wrestling with our fathers
to our first days at school
i am from distant memories
from vacations with my uncle
to the blessings of my grandfather

What do you do when you look in the mirror
And staring at you is hatred and fear.
The ceiling falls in, as the walls crack and break
The floors disappear, as the Earth seems to shake.
Gasping for breath, tears flooding your face
Striving for beauty, but falling from grace.
Your life based on looks, so you're selling your soul
Let the devil command you, was that really your goal?
Never again will you hold a true smile
You own no true beauty; composed only of bile.
Your head full of smoke, and your heart full of sin
A dance with the devil, you never can win.
