What do you do when you look in the mirror
And staring at you is hatred and fear.
The ceiling falls in, as the walls crack and break
The floors disappear, as the Earth seems to shake.
Gasping for breath, tears flooding your face
Striving for beauty, but falling from grace.
Your life based on looks, so you're selling your soul
Let the devil command you, was that really your goal?
Never again will you hold a true smile
You own no true beauty; composed only of bile.
Your head full of smoke, and your heart full of sin
A dance with the devil, you never can win.

  1. I love that this rhymes, which makes it almost sing-songy, but the emotion is anything but light-hearted.
